Requesting RPF Recs

I've been dipping my toes into Guardian RPF lately, with mixed results. I rambled in my journal about why certain RPF stories work for me more than others.

glymr suggested coming to you guys for recs, since there's been such a variety of excellent fic created for the sundial_exchange.

For AUs, I'd really recommend:

Reverse Star Chase (逆追星) by bowlerrootx - A super cute, fun story where ZYL and Bai Yu are housemates.
fledgling by bonibaru - Zhu Yilong is a dragon!

And in non-AUs, from Yuletide I loved:

In Plain Sight by no_detective - A lovely, hot story where they start sleeping together early in shooting, and catch feelings later.

I've pretty much exclusively written ZhuBai in this fandom, and if you're sensitive about any kind of non-fluff, the only one I'd warn you away from is Kiss! .

Everything else is mostly pwp with no close connection to reality. ;D

I hate hate mentioning my own work, but if you want a fluffy AU, I wrote one where Bai Yu vlogs about cosmetics and Zhu Yilong works for a cosmetics company.

For Actor World recs, all of glymr's and Eliza's stories are fabulous and I adored no_detective's In Plain Sight (explicit) and you don't have to answer by qikiqtarjuaq (not explicit).
